Their hands-on classes cover everything from international cuisine to baking, all in a lively, welcoming setting where conversation flows as easily as the recipes.

I actually signed up for a pasta-making date night there, and kneading and shaping the dough together turned out to be the highlight of our month.
I love that you’re encouraged to bring your own wine, which makes the experience feel more like a gathering with friends than a formal lesson. You can even bring home all your leftovers, provided they survive the ride back.
Parking can take a bit of patience, though, as there isn’t a dedicated lot near the center.
Nonetheless, the aroma of fresh focaccia quickly makes you forget the extra lap around the block.

Highly recommend
My husband bought this Tuscany cooking class for the holidays and it was beyond what I was expecting! Jeremy was our chef and he was so informative on making pasta dishes and made us all feel so welcome as though we were in his own home. It was so fun and Ruthann did a great job making sure we all continued to have wine and water replenished. The three pasta dishes were outstanding and we all left with recipes airdropped to us! Highly recommend!

Perfect for couples
My wife and I took the Thai Cooking Class. We had a great time, learned a few new things about Asian, cooking and ingredients, some useful knife techniques, eight very well, and had enough food to bring home for the next day. Chef Justin was very friendly, knowledgeable, and exceedingly generous with everyone’s questions during our Saturday evening class. Perfect for a couple or a couple of couples who want to do something different and enjoy food.

The warm, inviting atmosphere at La Cucina at the Market sets the tone from the moment you arrive.
The focus here is on traditional Italian methods, and there’s something deeply satisfying about turning a simple ball of dough into ribbons of fresh pasta alongside new friends.
While those searching for bakeries in Philadelphia may need to keep looking, pasta lovers will be in heaven.
Before the cooking begins, guests gather around a beautiful board of cheeses and cured meats, which feels like a delicious welcome into the group.
Bringing your own wine or beer is encouraged, adding a celebratory touch that makes the experience ideal for birthdays, corporate outings, and date nights alike.
Another thing that I appreciate is that detailed recipes are provided at the end, ensuring the flavors of the evening can live on in your own kitchen.
It’s worth noting, however, that classes run for about 3 hours, so plan to spend the evening on your feet.

Italian Table offers the kind of cozy, hands-on experience that’s hard to find in larger cooking schools. Guided by an individual chef, each class feels intimate and welcoming.
Guests can discover the techniques behind Italian favorites such as cornetti and cannoncini, all while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere.
My best friend recently attended a team event there and was impressed by how much time everyone spent mixing, shaping, and learning together.
Just be sure your plans are firm before reserving a spot, as cancellations within 48 hours aren’t eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
But if hosting feels overwhelming, the chef’s custom catering service could be a great alternative that lets you focus entirely on your guests.

Great class
My wife gifted me a cooking class at Italian Table for Christmas. We went with friends to have a wonderful time learning how to cook an authentic Italian meal. Federico was a great teacher and thoughtfully led us through each step in the process so we can recreate this dish at home. Great class!

Wonderful authentic Italian cooking class in Philadelphia or New Jersey. Very HANDS-ON. You will feel comfortable & have fun – while learning so much. We made an appetizer, main dish AND delicious dessert. We will be back for more cooking classes with Chef Federico. If you are gluten free or vegetarian he will ACCOMMODATE YOU. A little hidden gem!

Recommended for date night
We had an incredible experience at Hudson Table for Spanish Tapas night! The food was delicious – we particularly loved the romanesca dip and the chorizo and cheese croquettes. The class was super hands-on but you could always flag down a chef for assistance. Gary was a great resource for all things cooking – knife safety, food processor tips, and more. Would highly recommend for a date night!

Really enjoyed the cooking class! 4-part meal, each made with wine. Mussels, pasta, steak, and pear dishes were tasty and fun to make. Chef Britni was exceptional and assisting staff were very understanding and helpful. Fun experience all around!

Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience doing a private pasta making class. I wanted to do it during my bachelorette weekend and our group had the best time! Our instructor, Olivia, was phenomenal and so fun to work with. If you’ve ever wanted to try a cooking class, please do this one!

Highly recommend
We gifted our parents this cooking class for Christmas and it was the best gift we have given to them in over 30 years! We felt like we were cooking in the Bruno’s family kitchen! Johnny was an outstanding host who shared great stories with us! Olivia was the best teacher and she really explained the reasoning and science behind cooking, which was really cool! We made a divine Cacio Pepe and a Ragu that transported us right back to Italy! 5 of out of 5 stars – highly recommend for a family who loves to cook and spend time together!
