Website: theweddingfactor.com

Address: 57 N. 3rd Street

Contact: (267) 861-0409

Hours: Tuesday, Thursday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Wednesday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Sunday, by appointment only

The Wedding Factor sits in a convenient Olde City spot with a curated collection of established designer dresses.

The boutique excels at showcasing gorgeous pieces from prominent creators like Berta and Milla Nova, along with a great selection of complementary accessories.

When my close friend shopped here last year, she loved the relaxed atmosphere and the attentiveness of the styling team.

The central location near local landmarks also makes it easy to reach. Plus, the extended Wednesday evening hours until 8:00 PM are handy for busy schedules.

The one thing to plan around is that Sunday visits are limited to scheduled appointments. So if you happen to be in the area on a weekend, casual browsing is off the table unless you book ahead.

Pros

  • Extensive designer dress options
  • Beautiful bridal jewelry collection
  • Accessible Olde City neighborhood
  • Extended Wednesday evening hours

Cons

  • Appointment-only Sunday scheduling

The most pleasant and joyful experience

We visited 3 wedding boutiques in Philly this weekend. Wedding Factory was absolutely the most pleasant and joyful experience. The wedding gown selection and accessories blew us away. Each dress was individually wrapped, displayed and clean.

The owner Stacy and consultant Yoko were consultative and very professional. Important differentiator, alterations are done in house. The other boutiques offered a list of preferred seamstresses. One stop shop! Looking forward to the fitting in June.

10/10 experience!

Had the most amazing experience at the Wedding Factor this past weekend. Stella is such a thoughtful and kind stylist, I truly felt like I had known her for years. She understood my vision and found the perfect dress for me and let me prance around in it for the longest time. So thrilled to have gone with the wedding factor to find my dress! 10/10 experience! Ask for Stella!

Found my absolute dream dress

I had an amazing experience at Grace Loves Lace in Philadelphia! Accompanied by my mom and sister, I found my absolute dream wedding dress. Kamielle, my personal stylist, made the day truly special with her thoughtfulness and kindness.

The overall atmosphere and service were exceptional, making it such a memorable and joyful occasion. From our complimentary champagne upon arrival to hearing that legendary question, I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding dress shopping experience. Thank you, Kamielle!

Made me feel so confident and relaxed

I had such a wonderful experience at Grace Loves Lace in Philadelphia. I had no clue what to expect going into wedding dress shopping so I was pretty nervous and overwhelmed. Ashley S. made me feel so confident and relaxed.

She was knowledgeable, encouraging and genuinely listened to me. It felt like I was dress shopping with someone I knew my whole life. Plus, they were super kind to my bridal entourage and the studio is gorgeous. I’d recommend Grace Loves Lace to everyone!

Website: lovelybride.com

Address: 237 Market Street

Contact: (215) 627-1800

Hours: Wednesday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM; Thursday to Friday, 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

If you want upfront details about pricing before booking a visit, Lovely Bride Philly is a trend-forward boutique that leans into pricing transparency.

They keep a diverse price range from $1,500 to $6,000 to make the process inclusive, and pair that with a curated lineup of modern bridal designers. The shop carries incredible indie brands like Rue De Seine, so fresh silhouettes are easy to discover.

  • Pre-appointment bridal guide provided
  • Complimentary guest drinks included

Cons

  • High appointment booking fees

Wonderful selection

I had the absolute best experience shopping here for my wedding dress. Wonderful selection of dresses that stand above the trends. I went to about 4 stores before this, and my experience here was 5x above the others.

Jessica was extremely knowledgeable and kind, and played the perfect role in helping me find my dream dress! I felt welcomed and understood, not like just another sale. I cannot stress enough how wonderful Lovely is!

Couldn’t have had a better experience

I said yes to the dress! I had an appointment over the weekend and couldn’t have had a better experience! Rachel was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. This was the 4th salon I went to to try to find my wedding dress and this salon by far had my favorite dress selection.

There were just so many unique and beautiful gowns. There was no pressure to make a decision which I really appreciated, and the whole experience felt so genuine and happy and exciting!

Website: thesamplerackpa.com

Address: 918 Pine Street

Contact: (215) 922-4700

Hours: By appointment only

Smart shoppers who want stunning gowns without the long designer lead times will love The Sample Rack. They’re a specialized boutique offering private styling appointments and a dedicated selection of sample gowns.

The shop lets you buy incredible dresses right off the rack at a major discount. The fully private setting gives you plenty of room to find a showstopping look at your own pace.

Plus, your appointment fee is credited straight toward your gown purchase. That credited fee adds real value to the personal consultation, since the money you spend booking comes back to you in the final purchase.

It’s a nice perk if you already know you’re serious about buying.

On the flip side, the shop runs completely by appointment, so there’s no chance of drop-in browsing if you just want to check out styles casually. A little advance planning is the price of that private experience.

Pros

  • Private individual styling sessions
  • Discounted designer sample gowns
  • Fee credited toward purchase
  • Twenty-four-hour cancellation window

Cons

  • Strictly appointment-only schedule

Hands down our best experience

Gerardo did a marvelous job curating dresses for my daughter’s wedding. He quickly honed in on her style, expertly offered her a great selection of choices, and wisely steered her toward dresses requiring minimal alterations. Hands down our best experience with a wedding dress consultation! Best of all, she found a dress that she loves!

Made the experience feel easy breezy

Would absolutely recommend! Today was my first time wedding dress shopping, and I ended up walking out with the very first dress that I tried on, a dress that stylist Rosemary picked out, and one I might’ve overlooked if it weren’t for her keen eye. She totally understood what I was going for, and made the experience feel easy breezy. And I stuck with my pretty conservative budget!

Made my wedding dress experience incredible

Monet and her team made my wedding dress experience incredible! They worked with me to design my dream dress. We created a one of a kind custom netta ben shabu gown, taking fabric from one dress and the silhouette of another to make my perfect dress.

I completely trusted Monet’s vision and expertise when helping customize my dress. She knew exactly how to make it perfect for me! Can’t thank Monet enough, my dress came out even better than I could have imagined it!
