I still remember visiting a hair salon before a wedding, where they did my hair and nails. Sure, the blowout lasted until the end of the night, but my index finger chipped while zipping up my dress two days later.

They always provide a great service along with refreshments
I started coming to this nail salon since I was pregnant last year. They always provide a great service along with refreshments. It’s also always clean. I finally settled down with one nail tech, Kelly. She always takes her time doing my nails and does a great job.

2. Phila Non-Toxic Nail Spa & Hair Salon

Website: https://www.philanailspa.com/
Address: 1240 South Street
Contact: (267) 886-9017
Hours: Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Phila Non-Toxic Nail Spa & Hair Salon skips acrylics completely, focusing instead on natural nail care, creative nail art, and acrylic-free enhancements that protect your nail bed. With this approach, you can get strong retention without thinning out real nails.
You can pick between a soft builder gel that feels flexible and soaks off, or a hard builder gel that files off and gives extra structure for longer lengths. The latter keeps length sturdy without the monomer smell.
They also offer Rejuvenate and Recharge pedicure packages designed to complement a manicure with comprehensive foot care.
The catch is that Gel-X extensions can only be refilled once after the initial set, so you pay for a full removal and fresh application every second visit.

The salon was welcoming, professional, and had such a great atmosphere
Dayanna was absolutely amazing! As someone from Florida, this was my first time getting my nails done in Philadelphia, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The salon was welcoming, professional, and had such a great atmosphere from the moment I walked in.

Highly recommended
Just had the most lovely pedicure with Miss Virginia. 💓Everything was incredible, so many extras and attention to detail. A truly wonderful massage- she worked out knots in my calves and left my feet buttery soft. Complimentary eye mask and heated shoulder patches, a cold fruity mocktail, and a take home nail care kit! A full spa experience! Highly recommended!!!

3. PeCa’Le Salon

Website: https://pecalesalon.as.me/
Address: 457 Fairmount Ave
Contact: 267-975-1437
Hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Sunday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
PeCa’Le Salon offers manicures, pedicures, refills, and custom nail art. The shop features a strong focus on UV-cured hard gel, which is hypoallergenic and as tough as acrylic.
Alongside hard gel, they apply poly gel and full-cover Gel-X extensions that press over your natural nail and can be cut down to whatever shape you like.
If you’re walking in with old work from another shop, their techs remove outside acrylic, hard gel, soft gel, poly gel, or Gel-X before starting fresh.
But removing enhancements done at other salons comes with an extra fee, so factor that into your budget on your first visit. You also have to call ahead to confirm availability for nail art requests, so last-minute design ideas might not fit the schedule.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Recognized as America’s first organic nail spa and four-time Best of Philly winner by Philadelphia Magazine, Mi Cumbia in Rittenhouse Square is nothing short of impressive.
They draw their botanicals and techniques straight from the Caribbean coast and the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. Concierges at the Four Seasons and the Ritz-Carlton even quietly send guests here, making them a standout retreat.
They operate as the only Colombian Botánica in the Americas. They name every treatment after the specific Colombian place, people, and plant practice behind it.
For an extended pampering session, guests can choose polish-free or shellac options, as well as Brazilian and full-body waxing.
But you can’t just drop in when you have a free hour, as appointments are arranged by text message first. So, you have to wait for their response before dropping in.
