Families get consistent quality with clean rooms and well-equipped kitchens. This means groups won’t run into weird surprises when opening the door. It’s a highly dependable setup.
We also appreciate how they focus heavily on zero-stress stays by using a contactless check-in system and responsive support. Traveling professionals love how the staff-less arrival makes moving in after a long flight incredibly smooth.
Just a heads-up that their 10 AM check-out time is firm. They also have inconsistent pet rules, meaning teams must read the fine print carefully before booking.
Perfect 10 out of 10 stay
Let me first start off saying that it is a 10 out of 10 for me. The artwork in this Home was so beautiful. The place was squeaky clean it was comfortable beautiful skyline views, beautiful deck, beautiful garage beautiful door. I absolutely enjoyed myself. I mean I felt just like home I cooked dinner for the two nights. I was there. She had every pot pan season. I could think of. I didn’t need anything. Every TV in the room worked. Incredible stay and excellent hospitality
My stay at the Gas Lamp hotel was absolutely incredible! The room completely lived up to the hype – it was stylish, comfortable and clean. Beyond the fantastic room, the location is awesome and made exploring so easy. What truly stood out was the immense consideration and heart that clearly goes into this place. The hospitality was excellent; the host was so kind and readily accommodated my requests, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be staying here again – I’m already excited to check out their other rooms!

2. The Ledger Residences by Sosuite – Old City

Address: 150 South Independence Mall West
Contact: +1 (833) 533-4371
Hours: Available 24/7
The Ledger Residences by Sosuite lets families live in a piece of local history while enjoying totally modernized amenities right near the historic district.
Stepping out the front door places teams right across from Independence Square Park, which is good for morning walks.
Bridging the gap between a hotel and a traditional apartment, this gorgeous building lets groups book for a few months or a whole year. Guests here get to enjoy soaring ceilings and brand-new kitchens.
They also offer killer perks like a fitness center with an indoor running track and an on-site pet spa.
If you plan on becoming a long-term resident, you’ll even get sweet community perks like discounted professional housekeeping.
A major catch is that they absolutely don’t allow package deliveries, so residents must set up an outside mailbox for online shopping. The guest also needs to be at least 21 to book, and extra daily parking fees stack up quickly.
Wonderful first experience and great location
This was our first experience with AirBnB’s and to our delight, it was wonderful. The room was beautiful and the perfect location. The view was magnificent and I personally loved being across from the bell. Hearing it go off every hour was just a reminder of where we were. Everything was centrally located around us and we could walked to a lot. There were, to my surprise, a few laundry pods, which was great, so we were able to wash some clothes we were not expecting to do. The employees downstairs were always friendly and helpful.

Address: 1500 Chestnut St
Contact: (215) 774-2433 | [email protected]
Hours: Monday-Saturday 24 hours; Sunday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
Comfort HQ turns a regular living situation into a truly memorable experience by offering immersive, themed apartments that step away from cookie-cutter designs. These spaces feature unique local artwork and creative themes, such as “The Art Palace.”
They offer luxury amenities such as plush bedding and access to an infinity pool. To ensure everything runs smoothly, the hosts provide round-the-clock reception support to handle any issues that arise.
Because the building is on Chestnut Street, you’ll be in a highly walkable area near top museums. It’s a wonderful base after a tour of the city.
However, if you plan to share one of their two-bedroom setups, you’ll need to keep one major layout detail in mind: they only provide a single bathroom for up to six guests.
On top of that, there’s no mention of included parking. You’ll likely have to pay out of pocket for an expensive public garage nearby.
4. Apple Hostels of Philadelphia

Apple Hostels of Philadelphia makes saving cash while enjoying an unbeatable downtown location a dream scenario for students and budget travelers alike.
They also offer incredible free perks, including nightly drinks and secure lockers with built-in power outlets. Plus, there are zero curfews or credit card fees, giving guests total freedom to explore the city at their own pace.
Another plus is the shared spaces, which feature a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with a billiards table, making it easy to relax and socialize.
On the downside, they enforce a strict 14-day maximum stay per year, so this isn’t for you if you need a long-term arrangement.
Other important details to consider are their firm age and local residency limits. Plus, their initial booking prices don’t include city occupancy taxes, so you must account for that extra cost.
Beyond expectations and great location
I love my one day stay here! I did not know what to expect but it was beyond my expectations. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The place is neat and accessible to so many city attractions. It is close to food, shopping and iconic places. You can literally walk anywhere from there.
I love my experience staying in the 18-room girls hostel! I love the set up of each bunk bed and the common areas are so nice and equipped with games and fun things to do.

Ideal place for short layover
It was the ideal place for me to make the best out of a 24h layover. Had a single room which was really nice/clean and their social areas are really neat too. Special thanks to Alex, who was extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again on another visit. Thanks 🙂

5. Sosuite at Independence Lofts – Callowhill

Website: staysosuite.com/building/
Address: 525 N 11th St
Contact: +1 (267) 490-3660
Hours: By appointment
Sosuite at Independence Lofts strikes a beautiful balance between historic industrial character and sleek, modern living in a converted printing-press factory.
Every unit is built for flexible living, featuring private kitchens and in-unit laundry. Families even have a craft bar on the ground floor.
This setup makes it easy for groups to grab a bite or socialize without leaving the property.
Living here places teams right in Callowhill, which is super close to downtown employment hubs. It’s a fantastic, highly convenient location.
Because the building hosts a mix of short-term travelers and long-term residents, expect a bit more noise and foot traffic. You’ll find this place livelier than a quiet residential neighborhood.
Additionally, you’ll be dealing with a larger hospitality corporation. This means navigating rigid cancellation rules and standardized fees instead of receiving a personalized, boutique experience.
Helpful staff and quick booking
this room was so nice! we were turned away from a hotel and we got our room here within the hour. front desk personnel Nicole was very helpful and guided me through the website process of getting our parking pass, which was only $20!
