We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Success Rates and Science: We looked at the verified clinical data and live birth success rates for each provider. High-performing laboratories and modern reproductive technologies are crucial for achieving positive outcomes.

Inclusivity and Patient Care: We evaluated how welcoming and supportive each clinic is for diverse family planners. Excellent care must include specific programs for LGBTQ+ individuals and highly empathetic staff.

Financial Accessibility and Options: We reviewed the pricing transparency and the availability of shared-risk or refund programs. Working with major insurance networks also plays a huge role in our ranking system.

Scheduling and Administrative Efficiency: We assessed how easily patients can book appointments and get clear communication from the office. Inefficiencies in billing or long wait times heavily impacted our final scores.

No matter your path, the best fertility clinics in Philadelphia provide top-tier care, modern labs, and an inclusive space for every single family planner. Let’s look at the top options to help you start your parenting journey today with total confidence.

Address: 1650 Arch Street, Suite 1907

Contact: (610) 527-0800

Hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Friday: 8:00AM – 3:30PM

Main Line Fertility brings over thirty years of regional experience to the table, offering highly personalized plans.

Their network provides everything from In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) to inclusive LGBTQ+ care backed by a College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredited lab.

They also offer wonderful holistic support, including emotional wellness resources and nutrition guidance.

Their exceptional medical expertise and multiple convenient neighborhood offices keep them high on our list. They truly tailor care to your personal family-building goals instead of using a standard protocol.

The clinical team is highly decorated, but the office side needs some serious work. I talked to a local couple who loved the medical staff but faced major billing headaches and surprise insurance issues.

Communication gaps regarding out-of-pocket costs left them feeling quite frustrated. You might also encounter long wait times during routine blood draws.

Pros

  • Comprehensive clinic network services
  • Multiple accessible regional locations
  • Personalized patient-centered plans
  • Highly accredited laboratory standards
  • Inclusive LGBTQ+ family support

Cons

  • Billing and insurance errors
  • Slow administrative communication
  • Extended blood draw waits

Listened to all of my concerns and gave an individualized care plan

I love how informative and kind everyone at main line fertility is. They take their time and listened to all of my concerns and gave an individualized care plan. Sydney is so nice and so sweet, she has explained everything in detail and takes the time to make sure I understood each step and was comfortable with the plan moving forward! Thank you MLF

2. RMA Philadelphia | Center City

rma-philadelphia-center-city

Website: https://rmanetwork.com/our-locations/rma-philadelphia/philadelphia-pa/

Address: 1015 Chestnut Street, 8th Floor

Contact: (215) 922-1556

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00AM – 4:00PM

Data-driven individuals will appreciate a team that prioritizes hard science above all else. RMA Philadelphia centers its entire care model on advanced reproductive research and exceptional IVF success rates.

As part of a massive physician-led network, they offer full-service treatments alongside their high-tech Artemis patient portal for easy tracking. This setup helps you stay fully updated on your results throughout your entire journey.

However, a heavy focus on data can sometimes make the process feel a bit mechanical. Some patients note a lack of individualized planning, feeling like they are on a standard protocol rather than a custom path.

On top of that, getting your medical records can involve annoying administrative delays. Communication between different administrative teams can also feel a bit disconnected.

You might also have to travel to their suburban offices for specific weekend procedures, which isn’t always clear up front. But their deep laboratory infrastructure and high financial network integrations make them hard to beat.

Pros

  • High IVF success rates
  • Massive physician-led network
  • Advanced embryology lab infrastructure
  • Useful digital patient portal
  • Excellent insurance network integration

Cons

  • Standardized protocol-driven treatment
  • Delayed medical record retrieval
  • Mandatory travel for weekend tests

I feel incredibly blessed

Absolutely amazing experience. RMA took a complicated and stressful process and made it as manageable and smooth as possible. We were successful in conceiving on our first try. Can’t say enough good things. I feel incredibly blessed for having found RMA, having previously worked with another fertility center that was highly lacking.

Amazing at answering every single question I had

I love RMA. Not only are they very responsive and kind, but they are thorough with their process. I switched over to RMA after 5 failed IUIs at Penn Fertility. I am now pregnant after ONE iui at RMA! They closely monitored me and were amazing at answering every single question i had.

If anyone is struggling at a different clinic, please consider switching to RMA.

Update: pregnant a second time (this time using IVF) and pregnant on the first try with RMA. they are like family now 🙂

3. Shady Grove Fertility in Philadelphia

Website: https://www.shadygrovefertility.com/locations/pennsylvania/philadelphia-fertility-center/

Address: 1515 Market Street, Suite 1030

Contact: (610) 667-1070

Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:00AM – 4:00PM

If you want the backing of America’s largest fertility network, this Center City office is a top choice. Shady Grove Fertility brings unmatched clinical experience to the table, boasting over one hundred thousand babies born nationwide.

They provide a massive IVF ecosystem and famous financial options like their shared-risk one-hundred percent refund program. These setups work wonders for reducing the financial anxiety of treatment.

Their high success rates and wide insurance acceptance mean you’re getting top-tier clinical care. Plus, they have a collaborative physician model that ensures multiple experts review your case for the best possible results.

But operating at such a massive scale can sometimes compromise the personal touch. During my own consultation at their office, the appointment felt rushed, and the staff’s communication felt pretty impersonal.

It can feel a bit like you’re just another case number instead of a person. Also, you might need to push hard to get a thorough explanation of all your treatment paths.

Pros

  • Largest national fertility network
  • Massive-scale clinical experience
  • Proven above-average success rates
  • Shared Risk refund programs
  • Excellent local transit access

Cons

  • Rushed medical consultations
  • Impersonal staff communication style

Helped to turn our whole fertility journey around

Jordan (RN) has been our guardian angel during this challenging experience. She has phenomenal communication, empathy and professionalism which helped to turn our whole fertility journey around. I feel eternally grateful to have had her on my care team!

No matter how early  in the morning it is, Brooke always has a smile on her face and has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. She is consistently a bright spot during my monitoring and is the best “stick” at SGF!

Incredibly caring and supportive

I don’t have enough good things to say about the SGF center city clinic. This is my second time with them and the staff are so incredibly caring and supportive. They’re also very fast with their response times and I’ve never waited longer than 10 minutes to be seen (and am usually seen immediately). Dr. Kallen is also incredible. Really grateful for the care at this center, and can’t recommend them enough.

Address: 822 Pine St, Suite 4B

Overcoming complex reproductive challenges often requires cutting-edge clinical innovation.

CCRM Fertility of Philadelphia is a global leader in advanced fertility science, utilizing proprietary lab protocols designed to help patients achieve pregnancy in fewer cycles.

Their Center City team features fellowship-trained specialists who leverage top-tier in-house embryology and genetic testing setups. This research-driven approach gives hope to many complex cases.

The medical side is highly sophisticated, but navigating the administrative side can be frustrating. Patients often face a complete lack of upfront pricing transparency during their initial visits, with financial breakdowns delayed for weeks.

You might also find the initial consultation to be incredibly information-heavy without offering clear, actionable next steps. Phone follow-ups can also go unanswered. Plus, expect to book multiple appointments before you get a fully finalized treatment plan.

However, their superior live birth rates and elite laboratory standards make the administrative hurdles well worth it for most families.

Pros

  • Global leader in fertility science
  • Fewer treatment cycles required
  • Fellowship-trained reproductive specialists
  • Advanced genetic testing capabilities
  • Standardized network-wide protocols

Cons

  • Poor upfront pricing transparency
  • Delayed financial team communication
  • Multiple pre-planning visits required

The compassion, flexibility, and professionalism

I was a patient of Dr. Kelly’s for 2 years and ultimately needed to do IVF for multiple miscarriages. Everyone’s ‘fertility journey’ is different, but the compassion, flexibility, and professionalism of Dr. Kelly, Stephanie, Beth and all other staff, was amazing. This is not a cookie-cutter, big box medical system clinic. They have a personal touch. I really felt like they were family. They helped to make me a mom and for that, I will be forever grateful. I would recommend Dr. Kelly and all the other lovely ladies there, to anyone who needs help growing her family.

The nicest and friendliest practitioners

Dr Kelly and Beth are not only experts in fertility and total family building though also the nicest and friendliest practitioners. As a same sex couple seeking to find options to build our family, they embrace that each family builds their family differently. We can not be any more satisfied and glad we were recommended Dr Kelly and her practice.

5. Fertility Home Care

Website: https://fertilityhc.com/

Address: 1411 S Darien St

Contact: [email protected]

Hours: Available 24/7 (In-home and virtual service)

Managing the intense stress of daily medication schedules can be the hardest part of fertility care. Fertility Home Care offers a unique solution by sending trained registered nurses straight to your house to administer vital injections.

This specialized service provides personalized training and flexible support for everything from a full cycle to a single trigger shot. It completely changes the game for self-injection anxiety.

The peace of mind this service offers is unmatched for anxious parents-to-be. Their expert team includes licensed pharmacists who ensure your medications are handled perfectly every single time.

But because they rely on a mobile network of professionals, their availability depends heavily on nurse scheduling and local coverage capacity. This can limit your flexibility during peak treatment windows.

So, booking your preferred time slot requires some advanced planning. But their stellar independent reviews and highly compassionate approach prove they’re worth every penny for ultimate stress relief during an IVF cycle.

Pros

  • In-home professional injection administration
  • Personalized medication preparation training
  • Highly flexible scheduling options
  • Expert pharmacist-led founding team
  • Outstanding independent review ratings

Cons

  • Limited regional nurse availability
  • Peak hour scheduling restrictions
