For travelers who would rather trade city noise for a little extra peace, Holiday Inn & Suites Philadelphia is an easy choice.

The suburban setting feels wonderfully relaxed, making it especially popular with guests visiting local medical centers or nearby universities.

A family I chatted with during a recent stay told me that the calm surroundings made their multi-day trip feel much less hectic.

They also appreciated the convenience of the hotel’s restaurant and bar, which meant they could enjoy a good meal without leaving the property.

Practical touches like the fitness center and business center round out the experience nicely, too.

Just remember that the hotel sits outside the downtown core, so reaching the city’s biggest attractions takes some extra travel time.

I was very impressed with the with the place. Its a true hidden gem. Open 7 days happy hour, music performance. Beautiful guest. Amazing food🔥. And if that’s not enough, the hotel staff was truly the nicest people I’ve interacted with in a long time.  ❤️🙏. This maybe my new place to visit now.

Nice, comfortable room

I attended my 50th high school reunion, stayed overnight, and had the breakfast buffet at the hotel. Everything related to the event was well done. Staff everywhere were polite and helpful. Room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. Thank you so much.

Few experiences rival watching Philadelphia unfold beneath you, and Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia at Comcast Center makes the most of its soaring location.

Rising above the commercial district, the tower combines panoramic vistas with interiors that subtly celebrate the city’s local identity.

The highlight here is undoubtedly the upper-level infinity pool, where you can take in the skyline while enjoying a leisurely swim.

Equally appealing is the property’s central location near transportation hubs and cultural landmarks.

Of course, a stay this high above the city comes with one small consideration: reaching the lobby can take a little extra patience during busy times.

Pros

  • Infinity-edge pool
  • Premium wellness sanctuary

Customer Reviews:

Caring, attentive staff

Each time I stay here it’s better than the time before. Every team members attention to detail and genuine desire to improve your experience is felt through each interaction. Each time we’ve stayed we have had meals brought to the room and the food is absolutely fantastic. Every amenity is looked over with distinctive care and I can’t imagine another hotel rivaling the genuine care the leadership team at this location focuses on its guests.

Central location

Really enjoyed the stay. I’ve been to 4-5 different Four Seasons over the years and this one was probably the most grand one. Views from pool and restaurant area are spectacular and services was seamless.  Had kids with me and I asked staff to set up welcome for them and they had a hand written note, some sweets, their names on the window and kid robes/slippers on the bed. They were so excited. Location is also pretty central to a lot of things to do. We live in DC Metro so will plan to go back again.

Address: 237 South Broad St

For theater enthusiasts and culture seekers, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City places you right where the action is.

Set on the Avenue of the Arts, the hotel makes it easy to stroll to performances, museums, and nearby civic landmarks.

During a stay there last autumn, I especially enjoyed being able to step out for an evening show and then return for a relaxing swim in the indoor rooftop pool.

The contrast between the lively streets below and the peaceful pool above made the experience feel distinctly Philadelphia.

An on-site restaurant even adds another layer of convenience, whether you’re grabbing breakfast before a conference or winding down after a show.

The hotel also caters exceptionally well to business travelers thanks to its spacious ballrooms and versatile meeting facilities.

But because conventions and events are common here, expect a bit more activity in the hallways and public areas, particularly during busy weekends.

Pros

  • Avenue of Arts location
  • Rooftop swimming pool
  • Large ballroom facilities
  • On-site dining establishment

Cons

  • Busy shared corridors

Clean and very comfortable rooms, linens and beds especially appealing.

New dining area is very attractive and convenient for breakfast.

Waitstaff at check-in (Aaron in Double Tree Philly restaurant ) very efficient and pleasant.

Only complaint was that the room outlets were too loose to hold the plug but eventually found a good spot.
