Big home projects can get messy fast, especially when the walls end up rough or uneven. It’s annoying when everything else looks ready, but the surface still doesn’t look right.
That’s where a good plasterer in Philadelphia comes in. When you hire the right one, you’ll find that they can smooth things out and save you from extra stress.

Address: 4805 Rawle St.
Contact: 267-402-7222
Hours: Available 24/7
It can be tough to find a good plastering team, but Riverwards Plastering & Masonry on Rawle St makes the process easier.
They’ve worked in the area for more than 15 years and have experience with all sorts of repairs, from small jobs to larger wall and ceiling projects.
I also appreciate their free same-day estimates, so you find out the cost quickly. They also handle emergency repairs, which is a big help if something suddenly goes wrong at home.
Recently, my aunt called them after a pipe leak, and the team showed up fast to check the damage. They also give discounts to seniors and veterans.
The only drawback is that outdoor work can be delayed by bad weather, and sometimes new projects have to wait a bit before they can start.

What a great experience
I contacted Chris at Riverwards and he arranged for his plasterer Neil to plaster a staircase wall in my basement as part of a basement renovation.
Neil came to my house for three days, was friendly and courteous and above all did an excellent job. The finished plaster wall was smooth as glass! Neil has 20 years of experience and even teaches plastering. Showed me some photos of ornamental plastering he has done too. What a great experience, probably one of the best contractors I’ve ever had.

DeMarco General Plastering has been in business for over 35 years and has worked on all kinds of projects, from regular homes to historic places like The Bellevue.
I noticed they take clean work seriously, which makes a big difference if you’re living in the space while repairs are going on.
Also, they handle detailed molding, drywall work, and full plaster restoration, bringing the kind of experience and steady craftsmanship that makes even complex projects feel routine.
Just keep in mind that they expect quick replies when you’re booking, so you can’t wait too long to get back to them. They also usually ask for a big deposit up front, which might not suit everyone.

I realize that it is as much buying a work of art
Like an old European craftsman, Charles Leuzzi has 50 years of experience including 40 years as the owner of DeMarco plastering. He is not cheap, but watching his plastering to a skim finish, I realize that it is as much buying a work of art. Knowing the exact consistency and timing when to apply each layer takes experience. He cleaned up thoroughly and is a true professional.

I was very pleased with all aspects of the job DeMarco completed in my home. They were responsive to my inquiry, prompt on the day of work, did a beautiful job on the plastering, and cleaned up the space beautifully. I highly recommend them!

3. SurfacePro Plaster

Website: https://www.surfaceprofinishes.com/
Areas Served: Montgomery, Bucks, and Philadelphia counties
Contact: 267-902-2493
Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
SurfacePro Plaster works throughout Philadelphia and delivers a modern, high-end look unlike most plastering crews. They specialize in detailed finishes like Venetian plaster and microcement, which make finished spaces look unique.
I appreciate that they’re clear about their prices and don’t add hidden fees, so it’s easier to plan your budget. Plus, they give free advice before you begin, which is helpful if you’re still figuring out your project.
It’s also worth noting that their work focuses more on design-focused finishes, so the results look much more polished than basic repairs.
The only downside is the cost, since their services are pricier than standard plastering, so if you only need a simple patch, they might be more than you’re looking for.

You won’t regret it
Stop what you’re doing, call them right now and get on their books- You won’t regret it. If you want a great job done the first time, you need to be working with these guys. – Be prepared to wait, as they are busy, just know it’s WORTH IT. We had plaster in our home done yearly before we met Rob and it never, ever looked as good as this after it was done. I regret not knowing about them sooner!

Made it look incredible when they were finished
Rob and his crew did an amazing job at my parents house. The ceiling going down into the basement had plaster that was cracking and falling and they made it look incredible when they were finished. They also installed railings right and left side so they have something to grab going down if need be. I will be looking to use them on my kitchen project hopefully in the near future. Highly recommend.

4. C&C Plastering & Siding

Website: https://ccexteriorremodeling.com/
Address: 140 Greenwood Ave.
Contact: 215-385-1351
Hours: Monday-Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
C&C Plastering & Siding comes across as a skilled exterior repair team. They have more than 20 years of local experience and are a James Hardie Elite Preferred Contractor, so they focus on bigger, more detailed exterior jobs.
From what I’ve noticed, they specialize in stucco repair and not only cover damage but also check for hidden moisture and rot before fixing anything. That makes their work feel more complete.
I also appreciate that the owner is directly involved in the projects, which adds a sense of accountability. Their estimates are quick, too, and there’s no pushy sales pressure.
The only drawback is that they don’t do interior plastering, so they aren’t the right choice for small wall or indoor patch jobs.

Professional and Gentle workers
More than two thumbs up!!!
I would 5++ stars if I could. I couldn’t be more happier with the job David and his team did on my house.
They completed front exterior stucco remediation/paint and replacing stucco on back and side with Cedar Board siding.
This is the first time I experienced from a contractor who served much more than expected.
Satisfactory price. No hidden cost. High quality of work. Professional and Gentle workers..
You will get more than you expect.
Highly recommended.

Very happy with choosing C&C for our stucco remediation project. Team was amazingly dedicated and work was very high quality. David was always available and communicated updates frequently. Once I saw the damage to the wood, certainly a good decision to protect the home. Finished product is just stunning!

5. Philly Home Improvement

Website: https://www.phillyhomeimprovement.com/
Areas Served: Philadelphia
Contact: 215-096-46017
Hours: Monday-Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Philly Home Improvement makes plaster repairs feel much more modern and straightforward. Instead of waiting for someone to come out, I found that they provide quick online estimates based on photos, which really saves time.
They mainly work on interior plaster, especially in older houses. I appreciate their strong focus on fixing cracks, repairing ceilings, and doing full interior restorations, not just small patch jobs.
They also finish up with painting and trim, so the room looks complete when they’re finished.
Another bonus is that this team is licensed and works all over Philadelphia, which makes them more trustworthy.
The only drawback is that they focus exclusively on interior work, so if you need stucco repairs or other exterior services, you’ll have to hire a separate contractor.
