I drove over 300 miles to get to this venue, and I would probably do it again. Parking was easy down the street, I got it for 24 hours and didn’t have to worry about anything. An iconic venue
Incredible building that lay dormant for several decades. Acoustics are fantastic, and the building sits on North Broad Street, several blocks north of Center City. Parking is not great, but you can make it work with Uber or the subway. An iconic venue that’s been around since 1908 when it was built as an Opera house by Oscar Hammerstein I in a Beaux Arts architectural style. It reopened in 2018 after a major refurbishment with a show by Bob Dylan.

They use excellent ventilation setups alongside full Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance so all visitors stay safe and comfortable.

Good outdoor experience
We went to go see Uncle Charlie’s BBQue Tour 9/2025. The Mann is a classic venue within West Fairmount Park near The Plateau. Always great seats whether the Pit, Prime, or Main seating area. Plenty of free parking. They have good security and a few vendors on the premises but are expensive. You can’t bring in outside food or alcohol. Overall it’s a good outdoor experience.

Great outdoor venue
Great outdoor venue for concerts! Acoustics are amazing considering it’s outdoors! Parking is free! Nice setup for concessions and merchandise. The venue is cashless but you can exchange cash for credit cards in guest services. So we saw Joan Jett and Billy Idol! Joan was great, she loves her hometown! Billy was phenomenal! He connected with the audience, played lots of hits but some great new stuff too! One of the best shows we’ve seen!
