Walking in with stubborn acne or just needing a serious glow-up shouldn’t mean emptying your wallet.

The team at Skincare Lounge SPA firmly believes that taking care of yourself should be accessible, offering premium treatments and top-tier products at fair prices.

They skip the unnecessary fluff to focus strictly on proven techniques that give you noticeable results. I recently stopped by to try their custom acne treatment, and the esthetician genuinely took the time to understand my skin history.

You’ll definitely feel like a priority instead of just another time slot here. Plus, their licensed estheticians go beyond standard care by offering specialized services like booty facials and stress-relief scalp massages.

However, they do enforce a dynamic pricing model that charges more for weekend appointments, which can be frustrating if you work a standard weekday schedule.

  • Proven local reputation and awards

Cons

  • Higher rates for weekend appointments

Spa packages are reasonably priced

Had a fabulous visit to Skincare Lounge for my birthday with a massage and facial. Their spa packages are reasonably priced and the space was very tranquil. It’s a surprising hidden gem in the downtown area. They greeted me at the door by name and even gave me complimentary chocolate and champagne to celebrate my special day. I will 100% be returning!

My skin feels so soft and refreshed

Wonderful spa experience!  Bella did a great job with a deep tissue massage and Andraya gave a fabulous facial- my skin feels so soft and refreshed! Everyone was very professional and the spa itself is clean, calming, and a great ambience

Educational, fun, and deeply relaxing

I had the best experience at this spa. The space feels happy and warm, and every interaction was personal and thoughtful. The facial I had with Tia was educational, fun, and deeply relaxing all at the same time. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming and warm

This was my first time at Spa Hygge and it did not disappoint.  I did the 60 min facial and 60 min massage as a birthday treat and Kyria was amazing with both.  I was so relaxed I even fell asleep during my facial! The spa is very welcoming and warm and I felt extremely comfortable there.  I’ve done many facials and massages across the city and this was easily one of my favorite experiences. I can’t wait to return!

Website: https://glowbar.com/

Address: 42 South 17th Street

Contact: (267) 881-0022 | [email protected]

Hours: Monday to Sunday 8:00 AM – 9:30 PM

Squeezing a skincare session into a packed calendar is usually a struggle for busy professionals. Glowbar Rittenhouse Square completely reimagines the traditional spa day by offering fast, highly efficient 30-minute facials designed for people on the go.

You actually start by cleansing your own skin at their wash bar so the esthetician can immediately dive into the heavy lifting. A close friend of mine visits them monthly and raves about how easy it is to drop in during a lunch break.

I also like that they include premium services like LED (Light Emitting Diode) therapy and dermaplaning in their flat base rate, avoiding any annoying upcharges.

Plus, the upbeat, lively atmosphere is a fun change of pace from quiet spa hallways.

But note that they have a tight operational schedule, which means that arriving just ten minutes late will result in an automatic cancellation.

Pros

  • Zero upcharges for premium treatments
  • Time-efficient session lengths
  • Fully tailored skincare plans
  • Straightforward flat drop-in rates

Cons

  • Extremely strict late arrival policy

Explains what she’s doing and why

I’ve been to Glowbar 3 times now, and every time is fantastic. I had never gotten a facial before but knew I wanted to take better care of my skin as I’m aging. Rae has been fantastic! She explains what she’s doing and why, has great suggestions that have worked thus far, and I feel like I’m catching up with a good friend once a month. My dry skin isn’t perfect yet, but I’ve made great strides with Rae’s help. Love this place!

Skillful at what they do

Just got the Black Friday membership deal and got a facial with Rae…it was amazing! Rae is thoughtful knowledge and skillful at what they do! The whole process was streamlined yet relaxing and my face skin felt like it could breathe afterwards ! The membership price is steal but even without it’s worth trying it out. Rae answered some care and skin related questions too so that was helpful. Happy I get to come back next month!

I love the results

Leighanne was so wonderful. It was my third facial with her and she’s always very friendly and knowledgeable and I love the results. The rest of the staff are always super friendly too. I love having my facial booked in the calendar each month.

Calming presence

I’ve been a Heyday member for a few years now. Shante is very thorough, knowledgeable, and I can trust her to recommend only products and enhancements that are in my best interest. She has such a calming presence, and her facial massage is also a highlight 🙂

Came out looking lifted and rejuvenated

I had a Danucera sculpt and lift facial with Olivia. Can I just say-WOW. I went in looking puffy and tired and came out looking lifted and rejuvenated! Olivia was extremely knowledgeable.  She listened to my skin concerns and addressed them all. People told me my skin looked great days after. Highly recommend!!

Skin concerns are completely gone

I was referred to rescue for a facial because I had some skin concerns. Not only was the facial amazing and relaxing. I now go back every four weeks and my skin concerns are completely gone. The front desk staff is very welcoming and the space is gorgeous. Highly recommend
