Are you struggling with a sky-high bounce rate that’s making your analytics look like a future bankruptcy? Don’t worry—you’re not alone, and you’re not totally helpless.
A poorly designed website is like a bad first date: if it’s confusing or just plain boring, visitors won’t stick around.
That’s where “attractive” web design comes in. Whether you just need a visual glow-up or a complete overhaul, choosing the right designer can transform your website from dull to nice-looking.
In this blog, I’m sharing the top web designers in Philadelphia who know exactly how to turn clicks into conversions—and most importantly, keep your visitors hooked.
How much do web design services cost in Philadelphia?
Web design services in Philadelphia cost at least $2,000. This is just an estimate, and the final cost still depends on the website’s complexity
1. The 215 Guys

Address: 151 N 3rd St 4th floor
Phone: +1 215 315 5529
Business hours:
- Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
What’s great about The 215 Guys is that it’s been in the web design industry for more than 10 years, helping mostly local businesses improve their online presence.
I was impressed that it has built more than half a thousand websites in what I believe is a short amount of time. It’s truly a feat for a web design company.
When it comes to the actual web design, I admire that it does both informational and e-commerce website designs. It shows how versatile its staff is.
I was also amazed that it can use three content management systems when building a website. It uses WordPress for informational websites and, at the clients’ discretion, either WooCommerce or Shopify for e-commerce websites.
Another great thing about The 215 Guys is its wide range of maintenance packages. Some are plugin updates, a downtime checker, and site backups.
What I love most about this company is the free post-launch website edit that lasts between two to four hours. The staff will fix errors that will occur and will also train you during those hours.
I was only disappointed that The 215 Guys has a relatively high initial payment. You must pay 50% of the total payment before the project’s commencement.
Exceeded my expectations!
“Extremely helpful! Wow I had a lot wrong with my site that I didn’t see. I met with John from The 215GUYS for an initial visit to see where my Motor House Media site stood with SEO and he noticed a lot of things that weren’t working properly. He informed me that I was getting traffic, which is great! But a lot of the links didn’t work and some of my rankings had dropped off for some reason. I fixed a few things which work much better now and will be meeting with them again to really get into the site. John could have just mailed in the initial visit and not given any advice. But he took the time to really help. They were a recommendation from another coworker who used them who also had great similar results. I also would definitely recommend them!”

Amazing company
“Do yourself a favor and call these guys. Suppose you’re like me and overwhelmed by marketing website stuff, knowing things could be better but not knowing how and unsure of what steps to take. Now, imagine having a professional who’s fun to talk to and will listen to you. They will walk through your site and analytics with you, explaining what steps they would take in your situation. And then giving you a proposal to fix everything you think is wrong and the price being happily within expectations. This is the experience I get every time I call these guys and things have been fantastic. Thanks for existing 🍻”

2. Philadelphia Web Design

Address: 1735 Market St
Phone: +1 267 567 5099
Business hours:
- Mon: 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tue and Thu: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Wed and Fri: 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM
- Sat: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Sun: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
If The 215 Guys have over 10 years of experience, Philadelphia Web Design has been in the business for over 20 years! It demonstrated its expertise in projects it had taken before.
One of its prevailing skills in its projects is the application of technical SEO. It improves a website’s technical aspect by increasing page speed, optimizing sitemaps, and using canonical tags for duplicate content.
I like that it encourages you to share your favorite website designs and uses them as inspiration if the site is to be made from scratch. I see it as an effective way to fast-track the building process.
In addition, I appreciate that it offers website hosting. This ensures that there are knowledgeable people who will constantly manage the technical aspects of your website’s performance and security.
I also love that you can still avail of one of its services even if you already have a website. Why? Because it does a website upgrade. It can update your website design or even add web content.
However, the downside of Philadelphia Web Design is that it charges per web page. This is bad if your website has many web pages.
A rare find company
“Our non-profit, the Sullivan Trust, was in talks with Randy about a new website which is just a mess and I was soo overwhelmed by all the politics of how our company runs things but Randy really saved the day for me and assured me and stayed calm. During a Board Meeting, I was told we needed to quickly update an important PDF that was wrong. I had tried to change it myself but was clueless. With fingers crossed I contacted Randy, at 8pm. We talked, I emailed the file, and ten minutes later it was replaced, at no cost, a donation….AND he found an error on the PDF! Speaks for itself. If you are hesitant about using his service, why?! Randy is a rare gem!”

Thank you so much Randy
“I hired Randy to create a startup website having some one-of-a-kind requirements. I sent a bullet list of features and an example of a design and Randy ran with it, detailed hurdles and solutions, educated me, guided me, and created a better design and I ended up with a website far better than I envisioned… and still within budget. Where can you find someone like that in this day and age? I can’t recommend him enough! If you are thinking about reaching out, you absolutely should! A truly great experience. – Rob P.”

3. Kelly Website Design

Address: 1700 Market St #1005
Phone: +1 215 883 4264
Business hours:
- Mon-Fri: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Kelly Website Design is a company that offers many free things, one of which is a free quote. This allows you to make a more informed decision.
It also offers free website hosting for one year, allowing you to save money while securing your website’s performance.
Another free service it offers is website maintenance for a year, ensuring your site will run smoothly throughout the year.
It also has a free image library that you can access to get high-quality images to improve your website design. Imagine the amount of money you can save when you hire them!
Most importantly, I love that they offer a free SSL certificate for life when you host your website with them. This ensures your website’s lifetime security.
Aside from its freebies, I praise this company for its dedication to reporting performances. It sends monthly reports about Google Analytics, SEO keywords, and your website’s health.
The only weak point I saw in Kelly Website Design is the lack of other marketing services outside web design. It’s not a problem, though, if you’re only looking for web design services.
My business partner
“Working with Kelly Website Design could not have gone better. They were able to capture my vision for the website I wanted built. Ed was very patient and worked very hard to make sure I knew what to expect at each step in the process. He offered great suggestions and advice and found a way to make some of the more difficult things work. I will continue my relationship with Kelly Website Design because I trust that they will be able to help me expand my online presence as my business expands.”
-Michael Como, Google Review
You’re amazing Ed
“Our company reached out to Ed because we needed a website designed. Ed was very prompt in getting the ball rolling for us. His process was really easy, we submitted a form answering a few questions. From there Ed the bulk of the website finished within a week and we were able to view and suggest edits. Our website was pretty much a homerun from the initial draft Ed submitted. The design, layout, and color scheme was exactly what we were looking for. Ed handled the few very minor changes we made and we had a finished product ready for launch. Ed was even able to handle the hosting of our website which makes things convenient. I would suggest Ed for anyone looking to have a website developed.”

4. Roja Interactive Web Design

Address: 1650 Market St suite 3600
Phone: +1 877 854 3352
Business hours: via appointments only
While most web designers on the list build websites with a responsive design, I love that Roja Interactive Design stands out as the only one that creates sites with an interactive design. It builds a website that responds to user inputs.
Since this company builds websites with interactive design, I expected the sites would be W3C accessible—and I was right. This means the websites are designed to be usable by people with disabilities, such as visual, auditory, and even cognitive impairments.
Despite building a website with interactivity in mind, I appreciate that the company doesn’t ignore the fact that it should still be responsive. The staff makes sure the site is well optimized and user-friendly for all types of devices.
Lastly, the strong results of their previous projects are commendable. Some notable achievements are increasing a site’s monthly organic traffic by 960% and raising its monthly orders by almost 500%.
The only thing I could critique about this company is that it doesn’t have regular operating hours. It only accepts clients through appointments.
Know how to get things done
“I’ve hired multiple web design firms and used multiple web hosting companies over the past twenty years. None of them come close to Roja. Not only do I finally have a website for my business that I love, I have been able to reach more customers and grow my business because my site is professional and makes sense. I’m a picky customer and I know what I want. This is the first time I’ve worked with folks who are able to take my ideas and not only make them work but bring them to life by taking them a step further. It’s so great to have advanced technical knowledge and true creativity combined! In my experience that is rare. I won’t use anyone but Roja Interactive again. Their customer service is excellent, they respond quickly and they just get it done. Period.”
-Todd Horton, Google Review
Incredible team of designers
“Jason and his team at Roja were diligent, dedicated, and incredibly accommodating for our business website’s specific needs and very fine-detailed work. They produced very high quality work and were constantly available and in communication with us throughout the process, answering each and every question and request we had. We are incredibly pleased with the end result and could not recommend Roja more highly for website development.”

5. Creative Pro Marketing

Address: 1500 Chestnut St #1858
Phone: +1 888 448 6998
Business hours:
- Mon-Fri: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Creative Pro Marketing is the oldest web design company on the list, with over three decades of experience. This company has been an online marketing partner of many local businesses in Philadelphia.
I love its “mobile first website” approach, as it has noticed that over 50% of internet traffic comes from mobile devices over the past years. I find this a strong SEO practice that enhances user experience, reaches a wider audience, and most importantly, increases conversions.
Additionally, I find this company a monster when it comes to building a website. It can create a fully-functioning website in as fast as seven days! However, it may take as long as 20 days for a more complex website design, which is still fast compared to some companies.
Lastly, what’s unique is that it offers a wide range of other marketing services outside of web design. This is the only company on the list that has direct mail services, which brings a high potential of increasing your business’s brand recognition.
However, Creative Pro Marketing doesn’t have upfront pricing on its website. You need to send an email or make a call to know the price of a particular service.
Thanks for creating my website
“This is a new website. I like the design and the people I have had contact with. I believe the site is going to do well for me? They have been very responsive to my calls and concerns, pleasant to work with. Positive feed back on my concerns and objectives. I am not a tech person and I appreciate the fact they have and will continue to help my site be successful! I would recommend them to anyone wanting a serious website built and managed. The last company that I tried did not do well and they where a national company who just didn’t seem to know what SEO was suppose to do? So yes give them a call and see how they can help you!”
-Dale Coover, Google Review
We’re glad we chose you guys
“Great customer service that helped our small business every step of the way for a very modest mailing job. From getting a quote, to working with us on our mailing list, to getting our postcard mailed – we were in good hands. We are happy we were able to work with another Philadelphia local business, and while it may be awhile until we do another mailing we’ll definitely work with Creative Pro Marketing when that time comes.”
